 Hello, all! We are excited to announce that the updated Online Teaching Orientation (OTO) for Global Campus is live!  

As part of the transition from Blackboard to Canvas, existing Panopto videos will be migrated from Blackboard to Canvas. This migration, scheduled for August, will make all Panopto videos available in Canvas for Fall 2021 and beyond. Please see below for the detailed timeline. For your Global Campus courses, you do not need to worry about copying, moving, or downloading any Panopto content in Blackboard or Canvas. What follows is some important information regarding the transition and the various ways Global Campus’ staff will be available to support you.

We are contacting you regarding your Fall 2021 course: [embedded course information] In the past, you may or may not have used a Blackboard course space for this course. But if you did, we want to be sure that you are aware that WSU’s contract with Blackboard expires on August 21st.

As you know, WSU access to Blackboard will expire on August 21, 2021. All Blackboard courses will need to be transitioned to Canvas this summer. Course content that has not been migrated to Canvas will no longer be accessible after August 21, 2021. So if you haven’t transitioned your course yet, it’s time to get started.

You may have students in your summer course who need disability accommodations. Each term, students needing accommodations will work with a WSU Access Center Advisor to determine what accommodations they need.
