Learning Opportunities

These opportunities are virtual and open to anyone teaching a WSU course on any WSU campus.

Learning Innovations Workshops

Each semester, Learning Innovations offers virtual workshops on a variety of topics. We host live, interactive sessions designed specifically for faculty who teach across multiple modalities. We look forward to having you join us!

Innovative Instruction Series

These sessions will focus on a variety of topics related to pedagogy. While these are primarily geared towards Global Campus courses and faculty, all are welcome to attend.

AI Sessions

Join us for this three-part series designed for faculty across all disciplines to explore AI in education. You will learn to craft AI policies for your courses and assignments, create and redesign assignments for authenticity, and connect with colleagues implementing AI in their courses.

Canvas, Panopto, and Perusall Drop- In Sessions

Learning Innovations will be offering drop-in sessions. These sessions are for anyone who has questions regarding Canvas, Panopto, or Perusall. No appointment is needed, and you do not have to be there for the entire session.

During the sessions we will be supporting questions like:

  • How do I set up an assignment for peer review?
  • How do I create or assign groups using Canvas?
  • How do I record lecture videos with captions using Panopto?
